| Bio: | Life seems to be slowing down a bit so I can control at least part of it. Tough time last year, 4 retinal detachments and surgeries, now visually impaired but learning to appreciate life more.Thankfully my spouse couldn't have been more supportive with my vision, however this leads to my reason for joining LJ in the first place. My spouse was unfaithful, though I just found out 5/18/07- and it started in 2000 it hurts as much as if it were yesterday. I'm trying to take a leap of faith and stay... I fell in love with him once and never fell out we just took life for granted. We are now learning to reconnect. The OW is also on LJ but it has helped in my healing process. I have realized one thing "when the kids are grown and gone, if you've lost the connection with your spouse, you'll have nothing left" I no longer pretend to live in a perfect world. I've stopped blaming myself and lay the blame on the two that caused it. I'll have my good days and bad I'm sure, but I believe in my heart it is worth fighting for. |
